PayPal and eBay
PayPal is an eBay company (see what can I do with eBay here). Because PayPal is not regulated in the same way as a Real Merchant Account, PayPal accounts are frozen for almost anything and without warning. The account can usually receive money while it is frozen, but it certainly cannot withdrawal money. PayPal is an eBay company. More information about the company can be found Online Payment.

PayPal is an Internet-based alternative payment system through which its members can transfer money to other people or businesses for online auctions or purchases. Consumers complained that PayPal did not clearly disclose the funding source for each purchase, and thereby withdrew money from a consumer's bank account, even if users submitted their credit card information when signing up. PayPal is not a bank, but for online buyers and sellers it performs much the same function. It already has 45m account-holders worldwide, one-quarter of the number of the mighty Citigroup. Clearly, PayPal isn%u2019t easing up on its big ambitions .

Ebay is saying that PayPal is required to accept electronic payments, even though there are plenty of others that provide the same service. Take away people's choices, they get justifiably angry. I%u2019m excited to tell you that PayPal is continuing to expand our presence around the globe. As you may remember, we recently announced the expansion of PayPal into 190 markets worldwide. And as of today, PayPal is now available as a payment option, making it that much faster and convenient to get the songs you want And of course you still have the option of using your credit card.

How many millions of dollars worth of transactions will be lost before PayPal is back up? Right now, PayPal is easier to use for a payer. If you sell online - or are doing donations - go with both tools to ensure you can offer everyone a way to get the deal done. PayPal is widely used by many freelancers and small companies to get money from their clients, especially on eBay.
